This paper was instrumental in the early days of my thoughts behind The Emergence, especially behind his ideas on Associative trails (which to me is similar to the pheromone trails shared between ants to build better ant colonies).
In my opinion what has come from the connection to date are dissociative trails building better systems of monetization of the users. Never too late to change this course.
